This Hacktivist Group Is Only Getting Started After Donald Trump DDoS Attack

Following a remarkable New Year’s eve incident that saw the services of BBC’s global website and several other outlets of its digital platform including the iPlayer as the targets of DDoS attacks, the hactivist group pulling the trigger say they’re just getting started, after the takedown of Donald Trump’s campaign website.

New World Hacking, the name that the hacktivist group of  12 goes by, has claimed that the attack on last week’s BBC DDoS attack is “just the start,” of a year of many more DDoS attacks. The group also remains steadfast in its claim that its primary target is extremist militant group ISIS.

U.S. Based Anti-ISIS Hactivists Claim Responsibility for BBC DDoS Attack

An activist hacking group who call themselves New World Hacking (NWH) have claimed responsibility for the recent end-of-2015 cyber-attack targeting the BBC’s website and other online platforms.

The BBC was the target of a crippling DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack on New Year ’s Eve. The incident saw the BBC’s official website and its popular iPlayer platform along with its radio services rendered offline for several hours.
