Angry Birds 2 and Other Apple Apps Infected with XcodeGhost

Many iOS programs and applications on the App store have been infected with a malware called XcodeGhost. The malware spreads via the Xcode compiler used in Apple’s technology.

With the report by 9to5Mac taking the world by storm with information about how over a hundred applications on the App store were infected by malware, fresh reports claim that builds of Angry Birds 2 have been infected by the malware as well. Communication manager of Rovio Joseph Knowles told AppAdvice that only the Chinese build of the application has been affected.

He said that:

The sequel to Angry Birds is receiving significantly positive reviews. In a review titled “Angry Birds 2 review: 5 reasons why fans should flock to the sequel,” the author writes:
