Employees that experience personal security challenges on social media and other platforms may feel it’s too private or embarrassing to ask their employer for help.

At Hacked.com, we offer confidential assistance for personal security issues on social media and other private online accounts.

What is Personal Digital Security Hygiene?
Hacked.com is defining the term Personal Digital Security Hygiene
Personal Digital Security Hygiene is an individual’s ongoing ability to understand security risks and the continuous practice of staying informed and implementing measures to protect themselves from digital harm. By securing their digital activities, such as using a password manager and enhance privacy controls, individuals not only protect their own information but also improve their understanding of corporate security vulnerabilities, thereby contributing to stronger security practices within their organizations.
Personal Security Hygiene can be considered an integral part of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, which specifies requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). While the standard primarily focuses on protecting organizational information assets, it acknowledges the critical role that individual behavior plays in maintaining overall security, see Clause A.7.2.2: Information Security Awareness, Education, and Training.
